Network Barcode Scanner

EN

The short version

Network Barcode Scanner collects no personal data. It has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it sends nothing to us or to anyone else on the internet.

What the app does with your data

Scanned codes travel only inside your local network, from the scanning device directly to the computers running the app. They are kept in memory for the list on screen and are gone when the app closes.

Camera. The phone uses the camera only to read barcodes. Images are processed on the device and never stored or transmitted.

Local network. The app announces and finds devices on your local network (Bonjour/mDNS) so phone and computer can reach each other. This traffic stays in your network.

Keystrokes (computer). If you turn on auto-type, the app types the received codes into the app you are using. It does not read or record anything you type.

Settings are stored on your device only.

Third parties

None. The app contains no third-party services that process personal data. If you download it from the App Store, Microsoft Store or GitHub, their own privacy policies apply to the download.

Datenschutzerklärung in Kürze

Network Barcode Scanner erhebt keine personenbezogenen Daten.
